Why is the Woodland range
so much more cost effective?
There is no requirement for any joinery, the aluminium panels are manufactured from thicker material and they simply slide into recesses in the posts.
No glueing together of backing panels means there is more flexibility with choice of timber. Iroko is still the preferred choice for all other product. However with the Woodland range, Douglas Fir or Larch can be used, which is more cost effective. Less timber means that the product does not need as much oil treatment, this also benefits the customer from a maintenance perspective.
